Kat’s Kabin and primitive camping: 1555 Lemond Road

Four Sisters Ranch Cabin: 1848 Lemond Rd.

From Utopia: ( ~ 7 miles)

-Take hwy 187 North toward Vanderpool for 3 miles.
– turn  left  on to West Sabinal Rd.  Stay to the right at the first intersection.  Go 1.8 miles to LeMond Road.
– turn left on  LeMond Rd, cross the cattle guard and continue for 1.5 miles.  You will pass a vineyard, a big white house , 3 more cattle guards and 2 dry creek beds.; The cabin is on your right.

Directions from Austin 

Take 290 West to Fredericksburg. In Fredericksburg, turn left on Hwy 16 to Kerrville. In Kerrville, pass under Interstate 10 & take loop 534 to your left. It goes around Kerrville and intersects with Hwy 173 on the opposite end of town. Turn left on 173 toward Bandera. Go about 15 miles & you will see Farm to Market Road 2828 on your right. Turn Right and go about 9 miles. It will intersect with HWY 16. Turn right onto Hwy 16. Its 2 miles into Medina where you will turn left on Hwy 337. 20 miles later 337 intersects with Hwy 187. Turn left on Hwy 187 and head towards Utopia. After ~7 miles, turn right on West Sabinal Road. Go 1.8 miles and then turn left on Lemond Road.  Continue on LeMond road for 1.5 miles, the cabin will be on your right.

Directions from San Antonio (~90 miles)

Via Hwy 90 West
In San Antonio take the Hwy 90 west toward Del Rio. In the town of Sabinal (approximately 60 miles west of S.A.), turn right onto FM 187 at the only stop light in town. Go through the town of Utopia (approx. 22 miles from Sabinal) staying on FM 187.  Turn right on West Sabinal Road (~3 miles).  Turn left on Lemond Road (1.8 miles).  Continue on LeMond road for 1.5 miles, the cabin will be on your right.
